Major League Baseball All-Star Game (Fox) – Tuesday, July 14
The 96th annual Major League Baseball All-Star game will take place at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia on Tuesday, July 14. The midsummer classic, airing on Fox, will see the best players from the American League take on the best from the National League. Phase two of the All-Star voting is currently taking place on MLB.com and will end at 11 a.m. (CST) on Thursday, July 2.

Lucky (Apple TV) – Wednesday, July 15
“Lucky,” a seven-episode crime-thriller limited series from creator Jonathan Tropper, premieres on Apple TV on Wednesday, July 15. Based on Marissa Stapley’s novel of the same name, “Lucky” features Anya Taylor-Joy’s con artist, Lucky Armstrong, who’s forced to go on the run after a multimillion-dollar heist goes awry. “Lucky” co-stars Annette Bening, Timothy Olyphant and Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor.

Ride or Die (Prime Video) – Wednesday, July 15
Hannah Waddingham and Octavia Spencer seem like a fun duo, which is why Amazon Prime Video’s latest action-comedy series, “Ride or Die,” is a must-see. “Ride or Die,” created by Tessa Coates, sees Waddingham and Spencer as best friends whose lives are upended when one of them is unmasked as an international assassin.

The Hawk (Netflix) – Thursday, July 16
I’m hoping Will Ferrell can do for golf what he did for NASCAR two decades ago in the fantastic “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby,” which would mean a fun, light-hearted skewering. In Netflix’s “The Hawk,” Ferrell plays a former star of professional golf who delusionally believes he’s on the verge of a comeback. The series has a fun supporting cast that includes Jimmy Tatro, Molly Shannon, Fortune Feimster and Chris Parnell. Unfortunately, the trailer for the show didn’t really make it seem like it's going to be all that good, but I’ll give Ferrell a shot, and we’ll see if it winds up out of bounds.

The Dink (Apple TV) – Friday, July 24
Speaking of sports comedies that may or may not be worth taking a swing at, Apple TV has gotten into the pickleball craze with the film “The Dink,” directed by Josh Greenbaum. “The Dink” stars Jake Johnson as an aging tennis pro who must go against his instincts and take up pickleball to save a local club. The film has a strong supporting cast, including Mary Steenburgen and Ed Harris.

Furious (Hulu) – Monday, July 27
Liz Meriwether of “New Girl” and “Dying for Sex” fame is back on television as the creator and showrunner of Hulu’s “Furious,” an eight-episode crime thriller starring Emmy Rossum as FBI agent Alice Black, who finds herself in a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse with a female serial killer. The supporting cast of “Furious” includes Lola Petticrew, Scoot McNairy and Jake Lacy.
